The Screaming Ducks were honored to join the Band of Brothers Tour, Edition May 2003
in Holland. Together with the veterans we visited the Dike and culvert were Easy Company
came into action against German SS Troops that had crossed the Neder Rijn secretly.

After lunch at the Westerbouwing we visited Schoonderlogt were we posed with the tours
participants and veterans, while singing 'Gory Gory'. We salute these men once again !

Colonel Robert E. Jones (ret.) was named Airborne Man of the Year for 2003.
His illustrious career began in WWII. He was commisioned a 2nd Lt of Infantry
on May 22ns, 1939. He graduated from Parachute School and was immediatly assigned
to the 502nd Parachute Infantry Regiment where he participated in the Normandy and
Rhineland campaigns. He was WIA in Holland while comanding 'H' Company of the 502nd
and was returned to the U.S. in February 1945. After WW2 he served in Korea and Vietnam.
