The decision to create Camp Green Dog was made by the Screaming Ducks and Living History Group Holland.
Saturdayevening, whilst waiting in our Omaha Beach Camp on the arrival of several members of our joint
Camp, we received horrible news. On his way to join us, the Dodge Ambulance of Ubbo Mansholt had been
involved in a terrible car accident. Our 'Friend in Green' & co-founder of our 2004 Camp died of his injuries.
Ubbo, Green Dog was a hit ! WW2 tents, WW2 uniforms and gear, vehicles and the spirit of the 48-star Flag !
2004 was D-Day + 60... + Ubbo. Where ever you are: LEST WE FORGET !
