In the village of Schijndel (Brabant-The Netherlands) recent History came alive for one day in 2004.
60 Years after the Liberation, events unfolded depicting scenes straight out of history. LIBERATION !

The Schijndel Liberation Commemoration & Celebration was a very, very special event for us all.
A day of eduction, display, information and sharing our love for the recent past. LEST WE FORGET.
Like the Troopers and Soldiers in 1944 we were offered drinks and a place the houses of the locals.
We enjoyed the music, the shows, the other 'Brothers in Arms'; Keep them Rolling, Wheels, BAR, LHGN....
It was a very special day in History, Then and Now. Thanks to the very friendly People of Schijndel !
Our location: Molenhof, will be in our Scrapbook and minds for ever. Home away from Home !!
